Meet Dr. David Lindsey

“Being an orthodontist is a dream come true and I’m thankful to be able to do what I love to do! It’s awesome working with kids, teens, and adults of all ages on the Central Coast to help them achieve the smile they want and deserve. Bio

Dr. David Lindsey is a board-certified orthodontist who has considered Arroyo Grande home for the past decade. He is married to Misha, whose family has lived in Arroyo Grande for five generations. They have two daughters, a son, and a Maltipoo named Theo.

When Dr. Lindsey is not working, he loves to spend time with his family. He can often be found chasing after his kids on their scooters and bikes, looking for his golf ball that he hit out of bounds at Cypress Ridge or Monarch Dunes, or enjoying many of the local hikes and beaches the Central Coast offers. 

Dr. Lindsey loves cooking and BBQing and will adamantly debate that all food tastes better in a tortilla. He enjoys binge-watchin​g superhero and sci-fi series/movies and is an avid UCLA and Lakers fan.

While in dental school, Dr. Lindsey graduated with honors and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.  He has held numerous leadership positions and enjoys mentoring pre-dental students.

Dr. Lindsey has participated in two dental cultural exchange programs: one in Japan and one in Italy, and volunteered on two dental mission trips. He has also lectured at several national conferences, where he presented lectures ranging from engaging pre-dental students, leadership, and orthodontic research. Dr. Lindsey has published three scientific articles, including most recently in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
